What dental insurance pays for dental implants?

Currently insurance companies do not cover implnts, b/c it's considered an elective "cosmetic" proceedure. Depending upon your company, a select few will cover the crown portion of the procedure. Good luck

What dental insurance pays for dental implants?
Insurance companies will not pay for the implant themselves, but sometimes pay a benefit toward the crown that goes over it.
Reply:none -- even though it's better then the alternative!
Reply:Yes they will. I have Aetna and secondary Metlife and they both pay up to the yearly limit of $1,100.00.
