do not go abroad, when ever you have something surgical you need to be in contact with the surgeon just in case, implants are a still a specialist part of a dentist's work, most good implantologists only do implants on referral by a General Dentist.


You could contact the implantologist website, r one of the dental schools. You could also call Denplan Ltd, on 0800 323 3223 who will send you a list of dentists in your area doing implant work. Good luck.

I would contact the local Dental Association or closest Hospital for a recommendation.
Reply:look it up on the net,u know it can be done in Hungary by very good dentists for a fraction of the price.





Additionally I am a dentist and do recommend it done abroad..you can get your curative work..fillings ,extractions etc, seeing to any decay of course done at home by your regular dentist..then you will travel ONLY to have the specified implantation work done there, its guaranteed.Or you can come to me here in Ireland and we're even dearer than UK so I have no vested interest in saying go abroad only that its cheaper.Most of the dentists there are Swiss or Enlish by the way
Reply:DONT get it done abroad, although cheap, good oral surgeons normally take 6-12 months preparing the gums and making sure you have a healthy mouth before surgery.


The dental association should be able to help, although your regular dentist is always able to refer you.
Reply:Your dentist will be able to do it. But you know you will able to clam some money back for tax as well .
Reply:Why dont you simply ask your dentist. He should know better than anyone else of a good implantologist in the near area.





I know all the implantologists around me and there is only ever 1 man that I make my referrals to. Why would I sent patients anywhere else but the best?
