Are there dentists that will do dental implants at a n affordable rate?

If you live in an area with a Univ. with a dentistry program many offer reduced rates as students do the work. They are supervised of course. I know a couple who get all their dental work done this way as they have no insurance coverage. They swear by it...not so brave myself. It might be an avenue you could try.

I second a dental school. However the thing about implants is you must do your homework. Yes implants are expensive but they are an exact science. Be careful who you choose. The dental professional must be skilled at placing implants or be under supervision of a teacher who is skilled at placing implants.





I did not go to a dental school but have a very good friend who is a Prosthodontist professor at a University and teaches placement of implants as well as doing them herself.
