Is in true that dental implants brings artritis to the gum?

Arthritis can only develop between joints that move. Arthritis is basically when the cushion between joints is warn away and the bones begin to rub on each other eventually wearing the bone down causing severe pain or discomfort, as the teeth do not move, they can not have arthritis.

your gums can't have arthritis
Reply:You can't get good old Arther in the gum tissue. You can get arthritis in the joint in your jaw, but not in the gum tissue. I have two dental implants and have not had problem. The only issue was my jaw was sore for a few days from being open for an extended period of time while they placed the implants. I have TMJ so this does not mean you will have a sore jaw. good luck.
