Will marijuana truly impair dental implants like tobacco can?

I'm looking for an honest answer here, not anyone's morals or beliefs. I just want to know if I smoke cannabis on 4-5 times use a week, will that indefinitely impair the recovery period?

Will marijuana truly impair dental implants like tobacco can?
well there probably is not a study on it ,but I would say its not the active ingredient that slows down the healing in the smoke but the tar, carbon monoxide and other harmful toxins in the tobacco or weed that affect the healing period, the wound is directly exposed

you should cut back as much as you can to speed up the healing process
Reply:smoking anything impairs healing and could be reason enough for rejection.i would advise you to refrain from smoking during the recovery period
Reply:I don't know if you've had your wisdom teeth out but the recovery for implants is way less painful, it really isn't bad at all. I smoked a lot of cigarettes, smoked a lot of weed and drank alcohol at night after I had 2 implants put in and I had no problems at all.

That was one crazy day...
