What can I expect to pay for dental implants or bridges?

I have one tooth (tooth #13, apparently) pulled. It was pulled out today. I would like to get a replacement and I am weighing the options. I will not be able to get it until after January, though. I have a few questions:

How much can I expect to pay for an implant or a bridge?

Which one is better, if I am just replacing one tooth?

Is there a certain timeframe that I should be doing this within? Will it be really bad if I wait until after January to get it done? I really cannot afford it until then, and the dentists around here would not be able to get me in until then anyway.

Thanks for any information.

What can I expect to pay for dental implants or bridges?
The bridge will be way less expensive than an implant for sure. What the dentist will do is make a 3tooth set of porcelain teeth (bridge),and cement them to your 2 outer remaining ones,it will cost about 1200 cash, but insurance,if you have it,will be less.It is fine to wait until January, your teeth won't move that fast before then.
Reply:Expect about $2400 for a bridge or around $3000 for the implant and the crown coverage that implant.

The implant would be the best option if you replace just that one tooth, since you dont have to mess around with the other two teeth to support the bridge. In the long run, implant would last longer because it is easier to keep clean.

If your bone around the tooth is healthy, waiting for up to a year should be ok prior to placing the implant. You should get a consultation with the surgeons placing the implant to see if any bone grafting is needed. They could go into more details for your particular condition. Good luck.
Reply:Well, I think a bridge is much less than an implant, around

$700.00 compared to an implant at $2,000.00 or more.

Good Luck!
Reply:Where I live implants are about $1,000 per tooth. And that's with insurance. Bridges are cheaper, but not by much. I'm in the same boat and am unemployed. Dental bills can cost a fortune with or without insurance.
Reply:Dental implant surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
