Can you tell if someone has dental implants?

Nope.

Only time you can tell is when it stains to a different color than your normal teeth.

Can you tell if someone has dental implants?
You're not supposed to, but sometimes the tooth is a different color. Whoever's doing the implant will match the tooth as closely as possible so it's up to the patient to keep their teeth the color of the implant.
Reply:I have one and nope you can't tell. The only problem is that I can't get my teeth bleached very white like it's popular to do these days because my implant will allways stay the same color of slightly off white - the color of teeth before the whitening phenomenon :(

If you're thinking of getting one and you want to have very white teeth like half the rest of the western world. Get your teeth whitened a couple of times FIRST - then get the implant to match the level of whiteness you choose to keep your teeth at.
Reply:It depends on the quality of the crown placed on the implant and the quality of your gums. If you are really concerned about these things, make an appointment with a periodontist to have the implant placed and an aesthetic dentist who works closely with his lab technician.

Reply:Hi max

Dental implant results are so good today that it is almost impossible to see the difference between a natural and an implant tooth. ( unless you went to a blind dentist )

You judge : see for yourself this example - http://www.dental-implants-guide.com/den...

Hope i helped
