Thanks for responses about dental implants.?

is there anything i can do either orthidox wise or alternatively to prevent further jaw shrinkage and to encourage regrowth. My teeth seem to be loose in their sockets and it isnt the fibres its the jawbone shrinking according to my dentist,

the person before me is right. you need to see a periodontist not a orthodontist. your dentist told you wrong. there is no such thing as jaw shinking, at least i never heard of it
Reply:KAREN,

IF THE TEETH TEETH ARE LOOSE IN THEIR SOCKETS THAT'S WHERE A VISIT TO A PERIODONTIST NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE.

THERE IS NO WAY TO REGROW THE LOSS OF ALVEOLAR BONE THAT HOLDS IN YOUR TEETH.

THE CORTICAL BONE WHICH MAKES UP THE JAWBONES DOES NOT SHRINK.

TIME TO SEE A SPECIALIST.
