Yes, as long as your doctor/dentist knows about your allegeries, they will give you alternatives.

I think maybe porcelain - I'm sure there are alternatives for just that reason.

Implant material is made from different types of metallic and bone-like ceramic materials that are compatible with body tissue. There are different types of dental implants: the first is placed directly into the jaw bone, like natural tooth roots; the second is used when the jaw structure is limited, therefore, a custom-made metal framework fits directly on the existing bone.
Reply:Yes, there are other options. Just tell your dentist that you are allergic to titanium, he will advise you on what needs to be done.
Reply:Yes but bone does not grow around other metals like titanium. The prognosis for an implant will drop considerably. The beauty about titanium is our bodies do not reject it, and bone actually gets stimulated to grow around it which makes it stronger.
