Implants are generally the better route to take when replacing missing teeth... however, you should discuss your different treatment options with you dentist and the pros and cons of each as it pertains to your individual case.
Which is better a dental bridge or dental implants?
It totally depends on what you are looking to accomplish. A bridge will require preping the teeth of either side of the space. If these teeth already need extensive restorations then a bridge would probably be your best bet. However if the teeth to either side of the space are sound and would not otherwise require restoring and implant would effect only the site of the missing tooth. If you are diabetic or a smoker don't consider and implant.
