Where can I get quality dental implants for a reasonable price? $3000 each sounds to high.?

The research I have done seems to point to a $3000 each price and this sounds like they have agreed on this as the going price, I feel this is high for someone who needs several implants, seven teeth. The upper and lower teeth. Can anyone help?

Dental schools usually offer discounted price on implants. For example, NYU dental school offers $500 on each implant (crown is included too) and they are the pioneers in the field of implant. However, there are certain qualifications to meet in order to get that price. So check with the dental school around and ask for their price and qualifications.
Reply:Check with a dental school. Is $3000 including the teeth or just the implant? If it includes the teeth it isn't a bad price.
Reply:I don't know where to get lower cost implants but my thought is it's not something you want to scrimp on. Bridges are a more cost effective solution but they don't last as long. I've had 1 implant which was around $5K and I'm in the process of my 2nd which will be around $4K due to various complications.
Reply:Our office charges only $1650.00 an implant, so yes you can get them cheaper.

But if this is the cost including the final crown, which we charge $1250.00 for, then no that is a reasonable price.
Reply:The implant would be from $1,500 to $2,000, but that's just for the implant. You need to have the implant restored with something or it's useless. ONE implant is typically restored with a crown, but that is a two-part deal. First you get what is called the abutment and sticks out above your gums. That can cost from $500 to $1,000 depending on whether you can use a pre-fab abutment or if it has to be custom made and what the fees are in your area. Once you have the abutment, you need a crown and that fee should be pretty much the same as a crown on a regular tooth. That would be from about $750 to $1,000 or maybe more in some areas. This means the total would range from about $2,750 to $4,000 depending on several factors. I'd say the average single tooth implant restored with a crown in New Jersey might be about $3,000.
Reply:I know how high going to the dentist is high. You can save up to 80% on dental.
