Will they perform dental implants on a....?

person with periodontal disease? i have periodontis to the point where puss is portruding out of the gum pockets and my teeths are loose. i know i have to either get dental implants or valplast partial dentures. dental implants are my first choice and dentures are my second choice. i want to know if i go with implants, if it takes longer or if the dentist will even allow it because of the infected area of my mouth. lastly, how much are monthly payments for implants??

You will need to resolve ur periodontal disease issue before dental implants are an ideal option. Otherwise the implants will fail. Implants are ususally not covered under dental insurance and are about two thousand dollars each tooth. Many offices will not take payments.-registered dental assistant.
Reply:By my experience, you are not a candidate for implants. You have to clear the infection in your mouth first before considering implants. If you lost a significant amount of bone, then bone regeneration would be needed before placing an implant.

For your second question. Even though implants are the best choice, they are very costly and time consuming.
Reply:why don't you go to a dentist for an evaluation, then ask them?
Reply:NO

You cant have an implant placed if you have poor perio problems.

this means your gums are poor and normally that your bone under the gum will be in poor condition.

This is nt to say that you can never get them, you can have bone taken from your hip or chin to replace lost bone.

I wish you well.

Do you smoke or is it genetic your gum condition??????
Reply:NO. And the one that does is a quack, watch out. in order to place implants the bony structure must be in tip-top shape.
