Dental implants. I really need your help?

I have learn that the dentist-doctors in US wants to be millionairs. I understand to get the best dental implants who have travel out of this country. Can anyone recommand the best place/doctor that would give me nice, beautiful, real pernament dental implants. I contacted ehealth, they contacted me one time and won't return my calls anymore. I need to a place where I can't stay long because of my job, but I really like to have nice teeth. I even try Mexico, they even want a lot too. Can you help me?

Dental implants. I really need your help?
I am not sure where you got the idea that dentists in the US wants to become millionaires. Yes they make good money because they put lot of time and effort into their field. When I did my residency in 1995, they are fairly expensive but now they are more reasonable/affordable. Don't make a mistake of getting implants done outside US. I don't do implants in my office because my practice is limited to braces. But I have seen some pretty sad cases where my pts went to Mexico, India or other countries where the treatment is cheaper. Almost all of them ended up getting re-treatment. As the saying goes " You get what you paid for" . I am not against any other countries but in US the dental care is way ahead of any other countries. How do I know that? Because I had dental education in India, Canada and also in US. Hope that helps.
Reply:i dont trust dental implants.
Reply:Dental implants are an expensive procedure and you aren't going to get GOOD ones for cheap. I don't know where you heard that US dentists are all out to be millionaires. They make good money for good reasons but they aren't millionaires. You're going to end up spending more money traveling to a cheap one than you would spending on good ones. If you want them, you're going to have to pay for them.
Reply:there are great dentists in the us.......implants are great ..my friend had implants for more than 15 years now....he made them in us...implants are expensive because its a sensitve complex technique..it requires special instruments and techniques and follow ups.

Reply:As you know health care is one area where quality is more important than cost. So how do our hospitals provide high quality at such low rates? Fees in the U.S. are driven by labor overhead, administrative expenses, and insurance contracts.

Here is a ehealth source http://www.healthbase.com

Healthbase eliminates these burdens by connecting patients directly to overseas surgeons and offer premier services at prices unavailable in the U.S.

Healthbase is the trusted source for global medical choices, Its high-tech, information rich web-based system helps you research and arrange your medical care including necessary travel and accommodation, all at one place. They arrange first class services for patients at major internationally accredited hospitals in Singapore, Thailand, India and Mexico. The cost of surgical care at their affiliated institutions is typically a fraction of the cost of care in the U.S. with equal or superior outcomes.

Healthbase offers outstanding surgical services at 60-80% less than prevailing U.S. rates. Even with travel expenses taken into account, the comprehensive packages still provide a savings measured in the thousands of dollars for major procedures.

While the primary motivation for most customers is affordable surgery, the opportunity to visit exotic destinations like Thailand is an additional draw and spend a few days sightseeing before or after their procedure.
Reply:wouldn't that be great if they were and us dental nurses might get the salary we deserve!!!

seriously there are some good implant specialists in this country but expect to pay anywhere upwards of £2000 per implant. You will need to see a dentist to obtain a referral but if you smoke and don't have meticulous oral hygiene forget any idea of implants as they will fail.Implants are not suitable in all cases it really depends on bone loss and oral environment. So if its tooth loss you are wanting to replace maybe first consider a top grade chrome denture or bridge work depending on the number of teeth lost...hope this helps
Reply:First you need to find out if you are a canidate for dental implants. It depends on where they are going to be located. Are the sinuses involved. Are you a smoker,What is your general health. What medication are you taking. How large of a span is going to be covered. What kind of implants are you wanting and for what purpose. If you are not a canadite for them you run a high risk of them failing. First discover this befor persuing. Single implants are ralatively less expensive and less invasive and are showing a good sucess rate.
