Anyone with dental implants?

I'm 74 and have full dentures.Interested in having implants.Worth the trouble at this age?

Of course it's worth it. You could still have 20+ years left of chewing to do... and that's a lot of chewing! :)
Reply:It's absolutely worth it at any age. The thing to check out is if you would have enough bone left to support the implants. If you've had dentures for many years your bone may be deteriorating (is that how you spell it? lol) and you may not have enough to solidly hold an implant in place. The best thing to do is to go to an oral surgeon, have them take an X-ray, and discuss it with him/her.
