I need several dental implants. Does insurance cover any part of that? I have aetna . What is the cost usually for each implant? Does it hurt?
Does insurance cover dental implants? And how much do they normally cost?
Since your Aetna probably does not cover dental implants you
may want to add a supplemental plan that does. I suggest the
eHealthPlus membership. Be sure your dentist is on both
networks for maximum benefit. Search by zip code.
Reply:You will need to review your plan for dental coverage. Most of the time companies included dental coverage in your health insurance. As far as what specific procedures are covered, you will need to refer to your plan.
Reply:Implants cost about $1800.00. The implant is about $1200.00 and the cap that goes on top is about $600.00. If you go to the right doctor (that works on implants only) it will not hurt.
Reply:I do not thin insurance will cover implants. They dont even cover full cost for fillings
Reply:At this point in time very few insurance companies cover implants. You can have your dentist send an estimate to your insurance and then you will know for sure how much it will cost you. In Canada, implants from start to finish are around $2000, but shop around, prices can differ.
Reply:It isn't covered by most insurances but call your insurance co and ask!! The oral surgeon I work for charges $1400 per implant and that is for the post to be set. That doesn't cover the false tooth.
Good Luck!!
Reply:Most insurance won't cover dental implants. It cost $950 start to finish (implant and ceramic crown). It does not hurt at all when surgery is performed by an expert implantologist/oral surgeon.
Reply:Dental and Dental Implants Surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and lasik surgery in India by a company called Forerunners Healthcare. The Price for dental and lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
Reply:Most of the people prefer dental implants as their best choice of treatment by replacing the missing teeth. The dental implants are long-term replacements are surgically placed in the jawbone.
When it comes to insurance part, most of the insurance companies do not cover dental implants or insurers cut back on their coverage and insurance costs skyrocket.
I found Health base, a source for global medical, cosmetic and dental choices, connecting patients to leading hospitals around the world, advantages for countries with low labor costs. Health base, by connecting patients directly to surgeons, offer premier services at prices unavailable in the U.S.
