I don't know about Singapore, but my sister had extensive dental work done in Mexico, and saved so much money it paid for her vacation in Cancun.
American dentists charge so much for implants because they have to pay their staffs more, and they have high malpractice premiums to pay. Dental insurance in the US does not pay a realistic amount toward expensive procedures, it's really more for checkups and cleaning.
Other countries have medical professionals who are just as good as those in the US, and often they went to US medical schools.
