Dental implants?

does it hurt?

Dental implants?
Dental implants shouldn't hurt. When you have the implants placed, its a same day procedure. You will be numbed in the area where the implant is to be placed. The bone in the area is removed in an exact manner; the implant fits exactly into the space made. After the anesthesia wears off, you shouldn't feel any pain. Some soreness is to be expected, but that's about it.
Reply:YES!! I have 2 ... but they are worth the pain ... :)
Reply:like any surgery there is some residual pain for a period of time.

implants are a process:

the surgical placement, the integration period, the restoration.

I had three, two failed and had to be surgically removed, which was no fun.

most people have successful implants and long lasting restorations. good luck!
