"Dental Implants" ?

Is there such a thing as "dental Implants" that are free, experimental or at no cost? Does any Dental Insurance cover the whole cost? Thanks.

"Dental Implants" ?
Many hollywood actors and professional models have this procedure performed if they want perfect-looking teeth, but naturally arent able to achieve that. Here's how it works: either you NEED this procedure because an important tooth in your mouth has been removed and you NEED a strong tooth there OR you simply just want this procedure. When the living natural tooth no longer exists or has been removed, an artificial tooth is SCREWED INTO THE JAW BONE, like a construction worker screws a bolt into a piece of wood. It's literally a screw (there are different ways of anchoring the artificial tooth). The actual procedure is painful (the patient can be 'put out' during the procedure) but afterwords the teeth feel like your natural, real teeth, and they can look perfect, cosmetically if you want. Potential problems: if you place A LOT of stress on the tooth, as you age, the screw could come loose in the jaw (as the jaw is somewhat torn up) - although, most people do not have this problem.
Reply:What is a dental implant???
Reply:There is such a thing. I don't think your insurance will cover any of it though. My mom was looking into that and it's around $2000-$3000 per tooth. I seriously doubt if you could find anyone to do it for free. You can check into dental schools though...I think they do it for a small fee.
